Who is York Project?
York Project is a Detroit based social streetwear fashion brand that is dedicated not only to making the high quality clothing that we actually want to wear, but also focus on creating change in our communities. We operate as a one-for-one brand, which has helped us contribute over $104,000 worth of in-kind goods to homeless shelters. Additionally, we have supported like-minded organizations and people across America with financial support since we started in 2013. We currently are located in the New Center neighborhood of Detroit, and are available in multiple retail locations in the Metro-Detroit area.
Last summer, we began producing all of our garments right here in Detroit. Our goal is to create jobs and opportunities for Detroiters to work as part of our cut and sew production team. We're living out our mission to BE THE CHANGE.
